my day in [still] photos

I, too, have been infected with the Instagram fever and have been snapping away all day. My most favorite photo effects are rise, lomo-fi, early bird, brannan and hefe. Truth be told, I have uploaded the application onto my iPhone for over a year already at this stage and never really bothered to use it. However, my age has finally caught up with me and foolishly, I forgot to bring my faithful Sony NEX-5 to my son's first karate competition. Thanks to the late Steve Jobs and his powerful creation of an iPhone (and all the apps creators too!) I managed to capture the special event via Instagram.

Whilst at that, it is always difficult to resist the temptation to snap really random things around me. Since I am lacking of grand words and interesting tales of late, I thought I'd share with my readers what i'd call: life through my instagram eyes *cliche -- i know* if you haven't discovered Instagram just yet, this is it -- go check it out and start snapping. Although you could always share it online via Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter et cetera, I prefer to keep it to myself bar on this occasion.

I am loving all the Instagram photos I have come across online and I feel rather inspired to join the Instagram camp. Thanks to my ageing, distracted brain and poor short term memory in leaving my camera behind, I probably would never appreciate what little joy this whole thing brings me.
