the burst of colours

Although black is super easy, I really do love colours. The truth is, I have tops in so many colours that I could nearly have coloured sections in my wardrobe if I am organised enough. But I am not. I am messy and to have an organised, colour-coded fashion section wouldn't really be me. The only thing that is remotely close to it would be my hijabs or scarves drawer. It just can't be messy for I may never find the matching hijab that I want at any particular time. My love for colours do extend to my love for colourful accessories.

I have been meaning to wear this rainbow, tie-dyed oblong scarf which I purchased from the infamous Jalan TAR recently. The colours are so rich and vibrant I just had to have it. I thought having a few different colours meant that I won't be having any 'matching top' dilemma. Boy, was I wrong. I couldn't decide which colour top I should wear. In the end I opted for a plain yellow Polo RL t-shirt and a black knit cardigan with a pair of dark-wash jeggings. Pretty safe choices although I did feel like a walking rainbow or worse, a set of traffic light. The matchy-freak in me protested but we both survived the colour-burst.
